2. Tahan Api
Hal ini juga berdasarkan data uji coba . Jadi batang gandum utk rumah ini dipres sehingga tidak ada ruang utk oksigen . Selain itu, plaster yg melapisinya juga membuat rumah ini justru tahan api

Loose straw is indeed flammable, but the bales are so tightly packed that they actually increase fire resistance. In a tightly packed bale, there's no oxygen, which reduces the chance for combustion. The plaster coating of the walls adds an additional fire-resistant seal. Dengan adukan plester yang tahan air, dinding tidak akan basah batang gandumnya. Syarat lain atapnya juga harus bagus agar tidak bocor.
